About Matthew Thrift

I began my real estate career in 2006. During the course of my career, I have since graduated Magna Cum Laud from Southern Wesleyan University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.

I have served on the MLS Committee for three years, one of which I was the committee Chairman. I have served on the Board of Directors for Greater Greenville Association of REALTORS® as Vice President in 2014 and President in 2015. From 2006 – 2011, I specialized in distressed and REO / Bank Owned properties, listing and selling for clients scattered across the US.

In 2012, I opened up my own brokerage in order to fully concentrate on REO properties. In October of 2015, I started my career as the Broker In Charge of the Simpsonville Office for C. Dan Joyner, REALTORS®. I am now the Broker In Charge of both N Pleasantburg and Greer Offices for C. Dan Joyner, REALTORS®.

It is a passion to develop others in this wonderful industry. I do things different. Even the title Brokering Different is….well, Different. Most people would say, “That should say ‘Brokering Differently.” You see, that is the thing. It is all perspective.

Compliance, Training, Development, Coaching. These are areas I concentrate on as a Broker In Charge. If I am to lead, I need to consistently be learning in order for me to lead others. I have to. By doing things “Different”…we all benefit.

As a non-competing Broker In Charge, my goals and aspirations are to assist and mold every agent to be the very best they can be, to help them reach their personal goals, and to help them to live the life they wish to live.
