Please tell us a little bit about your family.
I have been married to my husband Don for 35 years! I have a son, Alex, who graduated from Va Tech and Ga Tech and is a consultant and a daughter, Emily, who graduated from USC and Wake Forest Law and practices Real Estate Law in Greenville. My daughter will be getting married in May of 2022.
What do you love most about the real estate industry?
It sounds cliche, but I love helping people find their dream homes and I love working with sellers to get their home sold quickly and at a great price.
What inspired you or led you to become a licensed real estate agent?
I have always loved Real Estate and after a career in the Food Service Distribution business, I decided I would get my license.
What inspired you or led you to join our C Dan Joyner Family?
I met with C. Dan 19 years ago and I knew that I did not belong anywhere else. The training and support is awesome.
What are a couple of your favorite restaurants in our community?
Well of course, I have to say Shuckin’ Shack Oyster Bar since we own it. I also love Hall’s Chophouse and any of the Rick Erwin establishments!
How long have you lived or worked in the upstate of South Carolina?
I was born and raised in Greenville, but I won’t tell my age!
What is the neatest event you have been to here in the upstate?
I enjoy Artisphere every year!

What is your favorite movie of all time?
My Cousin Vinny makes me laugh every time I watch it!
Do you have any advice that you consistently give to your clients?
In this market, be pre-approved if you are getting a mortgage and have proof of funds if a cash buyer and be ready to fight of the home if you love it!
What is something that you dream of doing one day?
Going back to Italy! I loved it there.
What would you consider to be your specialty?
I love to represent buyers and sellers.
What is one thing about the Upstate that you believe sets it apart over everywhere else?
The people and the proximity to the beach and mountains.
Outside of a personal family member, is there anyone that you look up to more than anyone else and is considered by you to be an inspiration?
Carole Atkison, my team leader. She is a great friend and mentor.
Where would you like to be in your life in the next ten years?
I would love to have a place at the beach to run away to.
What is one thing that most people do not know about you?
I rode a camel in Morocco! Not very comfortable!
Are there any places that you have visited that you would recommend for others to visit and enjoy?
I love anywhere in Europe.
If you could be famous would you be an actor, a musician, a politician, a sports star or anything else you would wish to be?
I love sports, so maybe an ESPN announcer.
What is your favorite time of the year?
Spring and Fall…cannot choose one of the other.
What do you wish for your clients every time you begin to work with them?
That they can find the home of their dreams!
How do you work on being better everyday (Personal and business)?
I try to always keep learning both personally and in my business life.
